Welcome to my electronic portfolio! This site features my projects, resume, biography and reflections regarding my Masters program at San Diego State University. There is also a link to my personal knowledge management systems (KMS button above) where I store my useful links, books, articles, and templates for the field of Educational Technology. You can email me with the contact link on the top of this page, look at my samples of my work on the projects link, or read more about me in my biography in the “about” section. To the left is my personal blog links where I keep friends updated on my current affairs.

I’ve been going to San Diego State since my sophomore year in my Media Management program. Its been a long journey, especially since I didn’t know much about computers when I started. I feel like we dip our hands in to many different fields like web design, human performance, process review, stand-up training, educational research, and more! I loved making projects for children and learning how to tackle big projects with a systematic and educationally sound approach.

In my comprehensive reflection I further explain the other theories I’ve learned. why I love them, and how I think they will affect my future career as an instructional designer.

Below are a sample of some projects I completed in the program, which all taught me different things about myself and the field of educational technology. To see a full list of projects and their connection to the standards in our department, see the projects link above. Thanks for stopping by!

The Digital Teenage Landscape: Heres a sample of one of my projects where a partner and I researched what local teens were doing on their personal web pages. The explosive popularity of MySpace allowed more young people than ever to use public websites to express themselves and meet new people, but were they including so much personal information that they were opening themselves up to online sexual predators?
